Old Medina & Habous Quarter

Request a booking — Casablanca

Two very different old quarters. The Old Medina near the port is Casablanca's original walled town — narrow lanes, small workshops, and far fewer tourists than Marrakech or Fes. Habous, built by the French in the 1930s in a deliberately traditional style, is calmer and known for its bookshops, bakeries and the Royal Palace nearby.

Both are best explored on foot — leave the car at a guarded lot rather than trying to drive through the narrow streets.
