The former Sultan's palace at the highest point of Tangier's kasbah, now a museum of Moroccan art and history, with gardens and terraces looking out over the Strait of Gibraltar toward Spain. On a clear day the Spanish coastline is visible from the viewpoints.
The kasbah's streets are narrow and largely pedestrian, so park near the entrance to the old town and walk up.
